I love Yosemite National Park in California. I was hard to choose an image but in the end decided it had to be this one. I know there is a famous example of this view in Black and White by Ansel Adams. So I did it in colour.

My favourite place ever would have to be Antarctica. I'm quite the penguin stalker! Alas, photos from that trip were all film so none to share here. A close second would have to be Alaska. Have been there in the summer with abundant wild flowers framing every view, but going there in winter dog sledding is pretty special! Not a great photo but a memory of a magical experieince.....

Well I won't brag about winning the last one, as I was the only person to enter.
I'm hoping a few more people will join in this one. The subject is

My Favourite Place

This can be a holiday destination, your home town, the pub, your living room in front of the fireplace or the handbag department at Debenhams, doesn't matter.
I want to see photos of the place you feel most relaxed, happy, content.

I'll start you off with a photo of my daughter sitting at the top of Corn Du, one of the three highest peaks in the Brecon Beacons, having a brief rest before continuing to Pen y Fan for sunset.
I love the place so much, I'm starting to well up just writing this ;)
