The Club is now 31 years old and continues to move with the times: we have excellent up to date equipment for displaying digital images, and most members shoot exclusively in digital formats, although some members still use film. For most of our talks and informal events we use digital projection, but we also regularly hold print competitions and encourage members to print their work.
(Unfortunately we no longer have any provisions for slide projection, having finally got rid of our slide projectors last year.)
We pride ourselves on being a friendly and relaxed club, where all our members get the opportunity to take part in everything, regardless of their level of experience. Although there is no formal teaching, all our members are happy to help each other out.
To get in touch with the Club, please use the Contact form or just come along to a meeting. We meet on Thursdays at the Hungerford Town Hall at 7:45pm (except for August and a short break over Christmas). Visitors and new members are always very welcome, although see the note below.
We have a varied programme which can be viewed on the website or downloaded. If you plan to come and visit, please check the programme for the day, as some events are not in our usual meeting room.
The club is an integral part of the Hungerford community and we are often asked to attend local events and provide photographs and images for local organisations and websites.
