At least six members of the club braved the wind, rain and hail to photograph today's event in Hungerford, when the 6th Close Support Battalion of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers marched through town to celebrate them adopting Hungerford as their "home" town.
Local resident General Sir Mike Jackson took the salute outside the Town Hall, after the town was informed of the goings on by Hungerford Bellman (and HCC member) Julian Tubb.
250 soldiers marched down the High Street then mustered in the main car park, which had been temporarily converted into a parade ground. The soldiers and their families were welcomed by the townsfolk, and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
Dignitaries who attended included most of the Town Council, the Town and Manor, and local MP Richard Benyon.
